Default Wheel Locks

Hi,

I am a new S2000 owner. I bought some OEM wheel locks and put them on last night. However, they look really bulky and stick out a lot. From reading the forum, apparently there is a shorter version of this McGard, with part number 24137. My question is, is this "shorter" version the best one out there in terms of fit? Will it make a noticeable difference in terms of blending in with the other nuts/wheel as opposed to the OEM one which looks ridiculous because it sticks out so far? Does anyone have a photo with this shorter version on the wheels or recommendations? Thanks.

Neo

I'm running the shorter locks and they are not noticable.

Gorilla locks with the external key. Look almost the same as stock.

I never had a problem with the OEM ones. I was looking for my extra 'regular' lugs this weekend and couldn't find them. It occured to me that I don't remember getting them when I got the car.

don't have an issue with the performance, but just that it looks weird having it sticking so far out when compared to the rest of the nuts..that's why am looking for suggestions from the s2000 community.
They may have changed them in the years since I bought them (about 3 yrs ago). I will try to find the Gorilla P/N. at home.

Here is the link for what I used:

http://www.sfxperformance.com/search/part-search.asp

part number is GOR38431N.

It has the round seat for OEM honda wheels and is almost the same size as the OEM lugs.
