Default wheel/tire ?

I have a set of 18'S C5 from my old CL-S, there 18X7.5 with +44 offset all around. my question is can i keep these wheels and just replace the back two with bigger tires? the front tires are 225x40zr18, can i just get 235 or 245 x 35 in the back or do i need to get two new wheels and tires in the back?

thx,
kevin

My 18" C5's arrive tomorrow!
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=25383

They were custom offsets for the S2000, and the measurements are....
Front 18x7.5 with 50mm offset. Toyo Proxes T-1 225/40/18

Rear 18X8 with 51mm offset. Toyo Proxes T-1 245/35/18

The offsets are higher than yours, but tire size matters, too. I'll put mine on tomorrow and let you know how much room there is. You can still roll your fenders, increase the offset of your rims, etc, although neither of those are options are extremely simple to do, from what I've heard.

Also, if they're 3-piece C5s, maybe you can save 2/3rds of the rim and replace the 1/3rd that determines the offset. Maybe go with a wider rear, while you're at it!

Maybe you can ask kuni what your options are. He works at a high-end performance shop.
