Wheels if not lowered?
Ok, this is the deal. I have this itch. To scratch it, I would have to buy 18 inch or 19 inch wheels, with a lip, preferably at least 2-2.5 inches and some sweet rubber. Problem is, i am at stock height. on my last car, RSX-S, I put rims on it without springs and it looked....gay (no offense to anyone out there - just slang). I dropped it with comptech springs and it looked amazing. S2000 is already a lowered car, but maybe not enough.
My question is whether it is worth buying rims (i am not racing and would prefer to keep things under warranty) if the car will look gay at stock height. Dropping will sacrifice ride quality, put greater stress on components and undercarriage of car at increased risk of wear, body can get scoughed, etc. All input is welcome.

A little compromise would be the Koni yellow which will allow a 1/2" when adjusted to the lowest perch.
Probably not enough for those demanding something lower but might be enough for us conservative types.
You could apply the Koni's then decide if you want to go lower with some adjustable springs..

I think 17" wheels with a little bigger rubber, 225 front, 255 back, will look OK at OEM height. A 1" drop will make it look great. 18" wheels definitely need a drop due to the lower profile tires. 19" wheels are for the bippu guys.
