Default When Do You Shift And How Many Kms?
I usually shift at 3000rpm, and I get just under 400km per tank...
probably vtec the car 7-10 times a tank.....

just wondering how r the driving habits of other s2k owners out there and their fuel consumption....

7-10 times in 400kms????? Why?

I VTEC whever I get chance, I don't really care what mileage I get but it's around 21 mpg I think.

I get on average 21-24mpg and VTEC everytime I drive it.

1 word: Signifigantly. From what I can tell, anywhere around 8mpg difference if you V-Tec regularly. Constant V-tec will get your mpg down in to the 5-10mpg total range.

I shift between 4K-6K but hardly ever get into VTEC. My gas mileage is around 25 mpg.

I usally shift at 7000 RPM 1st and 8000 RPM 2nd - 5th then around 4-5000 RPM to 6th all depending on the traffic
