I use 6th anytime I am just cruising. The speed limit on most of the roads around my community is 45 mph. If I am going the speed limit, and usually ( ) never over 5-10 over the limit I use my 6th gear. At 45 mph it is around 2600 revs I believe... no math, just using my memory.

uhmmm...after 5th?

........

Hmm, I think I feel my leg being pulled, gently. Actually, I tend to do a fair amount of gear skipping, because of the very close ratios. I find myself doing a very large number of 3-5 shifts, and 4-6 shifts, when a quick run in a lower gear gets me up to cruising speed. Oftentimes, after depositing my $.25 in the toll booth coin hopper, I take a really hard run in 2nd, and then shift to 5th or 6th (after enjoying a bit of VTEC) to indulge in normal and legal cruising.

almost never. i try to keep the rpm above 4000rpm at all times. anything below that and the car drives like crap. i know i don't get 300 miles per tank like someone said above. in fact, i'm getting at most 200 miles per tank. that's fine cuz i know that is one of the disadvantage of driving a sports car. when i'm in a mellow mood and plan on cruising, i usually drive my other car. i bought my S to have fun, not to cruise.

I'm in sixth as long as I'm moving at a decent speed on any road. However I don't let the revs fall below 2000 RPM, but as long as the engine can spin at 2K or more, top gear. Maybe this is why I get between 26 and 30 MPG in mixed driving.

I occasionally get into V-tec in 1st and 2nd ,wind out 3rd for just a second then skip 4th entirely and shift into 5th coasting down to within 5-10 mph of the posted limit which is usually 35-45 on the backroads I'm usually on. As for 6th I used to never use it unless I was on the highway but with an aftermarket exhaust I find myself slipping into it at 40-45 just to quiet things down at bit. If the top is down however I tend to wind things out a little bit more.
