Not too often. Mostly use it when talking on cell phone.

I use it at the Wendys drive-thru and also when on my cell phone. Comes in handy!

Rarely on purpose. Frequently by accident when trying to change stations.

I am going to use it everytime I pass a Boxster or M3 Roadster so I can hear the owner's regretful gasp "I should have waited to buy that car instead of my 45K snail!"

I find that the most frequent use is at a stop light when someone in a car next to mine wants to talk about it.

I use my dash controls all the time. I know some folks do not, but I like them alot. I usually use the volume more often than anything, but the mute comes in handy now and again.

As a substitution for the power button when entering parking garages and such.
