When does the S2000 redline?

Why would the new ones be less RPM?
I do like the answer above which completely doesn't answer squat.

because it is a different (if only slightly) engine. Longer stroke means higher piston speeds at the same RPM so the redline is lower. Short and sweet.

When does the S2000 redline exactly?
I know, I know ...It red-lines when your right foot presses down on that little silver thingy on the right with the knobby rubber bumps on it. The engine goes voom voom when you do that, and if you press down hard enough, it red-lines.

I might submit that it redlines when the little red light one the dash flashes
