you used the key for something other than the ignition.

i can't remember the last time i used it to open the door, trunk, or the glove compartment.

guess i'm too dependent on the remote.

I opened a FedEx package with it a few weeks back. Does that count?

I had to use the key to open my door for 3 days. This happened a few weeks ago when my remote broke and Honda had to order me a new one. I was very careful not to scratch the door or trunk. I can say that I hated the thought of having to use the key to open the door though.

Take care.

I always lock my glove box if I park with the top down. I don't keep too much important stuff in there, but just like having that peace of mind.

It gets quite annoying using the key for my prelude. I don't think I have even tested it on the S2000.

I used my keys to sight my scope... Shot a turkey vulture through the neck at ~300 yards.

Sometimes, when I'm out of the car on the passenger side and I need to get into that side, I'll use the key instead of clicking the remote twice. If you click it too fast, it doesn't work anyway to open the right door. Occasionally, I'll use the key to open the trunk if I'm right at it and I'm holding the key rather than the remote.
