When new S2K coming out?
Just got my S2K and very happy with it - taken 3 years but I am here now!
Just a quick question, is there any talk in Honda of a new S2K coming out?
Usually the japanese have short product life cycles on their cars but the S2K is now getting on to be 8 years old!!
Any ideas?

There's always rumors... the one I heard was that they are coming out with a 2007 model, which is the same as the 2006, but now they are going to offer the red interior for the Grand Prix White.
Like I said... it's a rumor... might not be true.

You're new, so I'll give you a serious answer before you get flamed much. 
There's always talk. But nobody knows even the slightest thing about the future of the S2000. (Except Honda of course, and they're not talking.) US dealers have gotten color information for the 2007 model. Beyond that, your guess is as good as anybody else's.

I was out test driving an 06 this past Sat. and when we returned to the dealership my sales person peered into his PC monitor and said that he would have a 07 Silverstone "in" next month. I had mentioned that I was interested in a S2K in the Sebring Silver color. His reply was that that color would not be available in the 07 model year. I seem to recall that this had happened before in the history of the S2K. Didn't they pull this color in 01? Anyway the salesman thought he would be getting the 07 S2K brochures in shortly. If that is true, we will know for sure what changes have been made to the 07 model.

I have no clue about a new S2K, but if I had to guess I would say that they will continue to sell it for another year or so and then it will end up like the prelude. I'm sure it will be brought back again, but I don't think that a new model will follow it immediately. Just my opinion though as I don't have connections with my brother-in-law's neighbor's uncle's dog's owner's friend of a co-worker's mailman's cousin's barber's customer who works at honda and gave me the inside scoop.
