When is VTEC warmed up?

Your clutch is probably alright, but be careful, because repeated slipping/burning will certainly cause premature wear/failure. I'm sure we've all done the same thing (I know I have.).

Let me put it this way: Do you really want cool, non-flowing oil lubricating your engine at 9000rpm? (cool and non-flowing is relative to properly warmed, more freely flowing oil)

You slipped the clutch. Been there,done that. Have the new clutch now with the TSB 1-2 grind taken care of. Nine months of pure performance. Instead of not wanting to play because the clutch might slip or grind.
