Default Where to buy Helms manual

Could someone help me out on this. Approx cost as well. I'm considering possibly undertaking a soft top switch to a 2002. Also, if I wanted to switch out the frame, does the helms describe how to do this as well? Thanks!

I can't help you out with the question about the frame changing, but the place you can buy a service manual is:
http://www.helminc.com
and they run $70 +shipping

Thanks for the help, on their site I notice that there's a new 2000-2003 service manual. Will this one show the top and frame that I currently have (plastic rear window) as well as the new top and frame (Glass rear window). Anyone with one of these manuals, your help is appreciated. Thanks!!

The Helms manual covers the differences.............

Here is a link to an Ebay listing for a new 2000-2002 Helms manual:

Might be a way to get one cheaper.......................

I have the 2000-2002 manual, and it shows exploded views of both, the '00-'01, and the '02. From the looks of the illustrations, the actual frame (the part that moves, anyway) looks identical on both models; but there are a few more parts on the '02. There's an extra band, spring, rear window harness holder, rear window harness holder cover, rear window lower moulding, and a rear window defogger sub-harness. Of course, the cloth portion is different ('01 has two cloth pieces, with one containing the plastic window; '02 has one cloth piece, with a place for the glass to go).
Hope this helps.

wonder if it would be possible to get just the parts that new for the '02 and add them to my '01. Anyone work for Honda that would know if this is possible? Thanks!!

Don't know, but if you do try to do it yourself and succeed, the whole top won't be covered under warranty whereas if you had the honda dealer do it, it would be. I'm sure it's not an easy task.

Hey Stephen, how's that glass working out for you? Rick told me that when you were having your top replaced you were going to switch to glass.
