Im new and also assumeing that this thread will get moved but I bet that like on my accord the S MAP sensor is part of the throttle body and you cant get a new one unless you buy a new throttle body is this the same for the S ?

Yep map sensor is ~$50. You might be able to get it from Hardtopguy and see if they can ship to the UK.

FYI the sensor that is attached to the Throttle body is the Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) This is the one you can't buy seperately.

Speaking of Map sensors, from everything I've read the OEM map sensors are terrible. Has anyone ever found a substitute?

Hardtopguy should have the best prices but if they won't ship overseas try

they appear to ship overseas.

He ships overseas. In fact I know that he shipped a shortblock to Spain So I don't see a problem with a map sensor.
