as the topic says, i'm ready to get dvd system for my S but i show those ppl in " good guys" if i want to custom something like JDM oem ones, the installation will cast me 1g without parts ?! so i'm trying to find the trim to see if it's easier.

I'm not excatly sure wat set up i should use yet, so plz post some pics of your Ss with dvd system in there if it's possible. thankxxx.

 

there are one or more threads covering this topic. the JDM nav screen trim is for right-hand drive and will not match up with the dash on US left drivers. someone had an enclosure custom molded. it looked very good. try a search.

 

It will work with slight modifications to the jdm frame. It needs to be heated and bent to fit and some type of frame needs to be created to go behind it to hold it in place.

 

who has successfully modifed a jdm surround? it is completely wrong match for the curvature of the dash and it can't be flipped upside-down.

 

I have a frame sitting in my trunk it really isnt that off. I am just to lazy to put it in i am going to just put my screen in the visor for my nav. But here is the thread where dxlst posted pics of his install. Looks like they arent in there anymore though.
