Before I order from http://www.soundcity.com, I thought I would see what everyone else has done.

BTW, wouldn't be cool if there was a seperate forum for audio discussions and the S2000?

I used http://www.soundhabit.com and was very happy with service and price. These folks have no phone but responded very well by email.

 

I walked into 6th Avenue Electronics in Union, NJ with $8000 cash and walked out with a dolly-worth of the best priced high end audio... they have high end audio IN STOCK and definitely deal with quantity orders (plus they are really nice and relaxed)...

My DynAudios I purchased from Audio Communications (mail order) in Pittsburgh, PA (I went to school there and had a long-term relationship with them so they sold to me mail order).

The problem with the really high-end stuff is it usually is not available mail-order...

Crutchfield prices may suck, but they will take anything back and give you store credit. I returned a head unit to them that had been in use in my car for three months because I didn't "like the way it fit." They just gave me full purchase price store credit for the thing. I consider that level of service worth paying for.
