I just wanted to find out where everyone mounted their V-AFC, mine is still unofficially mounted (aka under the drivers seat) and I just wanted to see what everyone else did before I do something completely stupid. I want it to be visible, but not out of place. I already have a V-1 mounted just like Reedz so that location is taken.

well i dont know where your v1 is located but i put my vafc in my visor (drivers side) i'll get some pics asap. all i did was hallow out a section enough for the vafc unit then i ran the wire inside the windshield frame.

I like where I put mine but most people don't. It's out of the way but still very visable. Everyone's first reaction to it is oh it could get ripped off...if you do it right there is no way that VAFC could move. Anyway...here it is.

I put mine on top of the dash via double-sided velcro tape. It is positioned to the right of the steering column on top of the dash.

 

I tried checking the site, but couldn't find anything. What is V-afc?

I placed it in this location so that I can still see it but I can fold it away out of prying eyes. When it is folded, it cannot be seen from the outside, even with the top down unless you are REALLY leaning in.
