your door when you close it? When I close the passenger side door after letting my wife in I usually am unsure where to place my hand on the door. Sometimes I use the handle area, and sometimes I put my fingers on the black trim area below the window. Whenever I close the driver side door after getting out I always put my hand perpendicular to the edge so I am not touching the "exterior" of the door.

I just barely touch the door handle and close (not slam).

If you use the back of your hand on the door handle to gently close the door, you will most likely prevent smudging a show room shine

I always try to touch the black rubber trim next to the window when closing the door. Anywhere else shows prints!

You can push the door closed with your index finger using the keyhole

I only touch the black rubber trim as well.

As for the trunk, I close it by pressing one finger down hard on the plastic covered brake light.

I'm sorry guys. I'm NOT trying to be mean or anything and I can "sorta" understand the underlying sentiment but ........... DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE THE HUMOR AND WEIRDNESS OF THIS WHOLE THREAD?

(So does this mean standing with your back to the door, pulling your pants down and pushing the door closed with your bare a$$ is out of the question?)
