Just curious why you felt the need to post the same picture 3 times? Or is there something different about each?
that's right, i didn't notice until you mentioned it

Actually, this isn't a stupid question. Another of my cars is a Mercedes Benz, and there are after-market chrome plated plastic covers for outside mirrors available for almost every model. Now, this not to say that I actually WANT them, as I have not bought them for our MB, and probably wouldn't buy them for our S2k either.

The only purpose of this post is to point out that chrome outside mirror covers are not an uncommon after-market accessory, so the OP posed a legit question.

Thanks,
Richard

I notice the cover for the passenger air bag is open in those pics. Do they dispense with the airbag in Japan and have a glove box instead?

on second look the color of the pleated leather in the seats doesn't quite match the clolor of the sides/bolsters?

perhaps I'll not get the steering wheel...

Great, now every time someone quotes you we have to look at those ugly as h*ll chrome mirrors. Why in the world would you want to do that?

Well, maybe because they look rather nice on that maroon body color. But last time I checked, we had no such body color available to us. I have a NFR, and think they would look like sh*t on it. But, if my s2k were maroon, I'd go for it.

Thanks,
Richard

Interesting post.
I had never seen this or thought of the possibility.
Not sure I want them but I'm sure someone might be inspired.
