Default Where are the hardtops?

I'm planning on buying an S2000 here shortly.

Living in Arizona...most of the time it's really HOT here so I thought I'd get a hardtop but every where I go they say they don't have any.

I went to hardtopguy.com and a few others, they state that there is some sort of supply problem from Honda...

Does anyone know what's going on?

Is it a specific color? HTG's website seems to indicate that all colors are available.
Note:
Unless this has changed in the last few days.

I've had my OEM hard top for about a month.

I paid full price ($3K) up-front for hard top delivery to the local dealership in SoCal (Santa Barbara Honda). The top was delivered to the dealer in four days, installation took three hours, and then taking the top off again to get rid of all squeaks and rattles took another ten minutes... now I'm very happy.

There was a problem with supply I believe, but I didn't know the problem still existed... What color were you looking for? I know SanMarinoCpe (Joe at Ganley Honda) had a rio sitting at the dealership (and it was less than $3k).

I'm in the market for a laguna blue hardtop. When I bought my car I did not want to finance the hardtop and lip, etc into my monthly payment. Since I didn't finance the hardtop with the car the dealership quoted me some rediculous price like $4K for the ht.
I have not contacted hardtopguy by phone, but according to the website it will be around $2800 + shipping, which is around $400 That brings it to $3100-3200 shipped.
Is there not anywhere else cheaper to find an OEM hardtop?

Groupbuy forum....although $2800 is probably the going rate right now unless someone has a groupbuy going.

$2800 is not so bad. MSRP is somewhere around $34/3500 and this is before taxes. $31/3200 delivered is a pretty good deal.

Make sure you are registered and logged in to the HTG site. Otherwise you are getting a shipping quote to 90210.
