Where the hell is the secret compartment?

yes that's the secret department, but it's not the super duper top secret department, i can hold a case of beer in mine.

actually my owner's manual was also in the "secret" compartment. you don't notice it at first when you are new to the S 'cause most other cars don't require you to twist in that manner and so you never look aft and up. i was putting my registration/insurance away and noticed the handle and found it.

so, where is the "super duper" location? i've previously taken all the paneling out of the trunk, tire, fuel pump, tool tray. which one is it?

That's how I found my owner manual. Bought the car used and assumed it didn't come with an owners manual. Found a .pdf owners manual to download, read about the 'secret compartment' and there was my owner's manual. Life is good.

Now where should I be putting my case of beer that currently fits nicely in the trunk well.
