Hey all...

I accidentally cracked my front bumper. What's the best place to get a replacement? I would prefer that it came painted Silverstone.

My car is an '03 so AP1 replacement would be best. I don't want to go the AP2 route cause it seems pretty expensive after all the parts.

hardtopguy.com Jeff and Joe will help you out (but they come unpainted/they all do)....unless you find one used

 

how much should paint run me? and how difficult is it to match an 03 silverstone?

I remember people were saying different MY had different shades of silverstone.

 

only 1 shade of Silverstone for the S2000, the other silver is like mine- Sebring.....paint will totally depend on where you take it and the quality of work...anywhere from $150-300

 

A used silverstone ap1 bumper shouldn't be terribly hard to find in good shape. Might save you both hassle and money if you're willing to go that route.

 

post in the WTB forum. you might find a used one.

i believe the paint code for silverstone is different for each year so all the MY's that are silverstone may be a shade or two off from another year. so your best bet would be to find an 03 front bumper used. but i don't think the difference is that dramatic that you couldn't get any pre04 bumper.
