Where to look for an S2K
Hey all
I had an 03 way back and only enjoyed the car for a year before needing to sell and move on with fam life.
Been talking with wife about getting a convertible and S2K seems like the only choice that stirs my heart.
Been searching for a clean AP2 on here, FB, car sites, but can't find anything with around 50-60k miles that's not modded.
Does anyone know where else I should be looking?

You will probably have a hard time finding a car that has not had some sort of upgrade/modification.
When you say modded what are you referring to? An intake? Wheels? Suspension? Etc? Any bolt on mod is to me no reason to pass on a car - you can always replace it with a higher quality bolt on if you don't like the brand or quality, or you can go back to stock.
Remember, AP2's are 14 to 17 years old and in that time people will update things... I also may be a bit bias but if tastefully done, many "modification" (I like to call them upgrades) can really improve the driving dynamics. I don't think I could own one of these in stock form now that I've got mine properly "dialed in".
I know that didn't answer your question, but there's no magic place to look where stock S2000s live

I've seen seveal low mile S2000's posted on facebook groups: S2000 Classifieds & S2000 Parts for Sale. There's just not a lot of them out there, and even fewer when you start looking for stock and low miles. From what I've seen I'd plan around $40k for a 50-60k mile AP2.

Is there a way to search the whole country in FB? It limits to 500 miles and I've been searching CA/FL/WA/NY but none that excites me. Picking is def pretty slim!
Look on "Bring a Trailer" auction site. You may not get a deal, but you should find what you're looking for. These cars are popular, but by no means, unicorns. You may have to fly out and drive back, but that would be a good way to familiarize yourself with your new purchase. Happy hunting.
Not sure about FB search. I'm sure you have tried autotrader.com
If I can get my hands on a 2023 Z or Supra in manual, then I will most likely be selling mine. That could be a while though.
I'm posting for future reference in case you are still looking when it happens.
Best of luck to you.

I was tracking on eBay but also general dealers advertising cars. USAA had a good search site, I don't know if they still do. I wound up stalking a car on eBay owned by a dealer in Phoenix. It was not selling as it never hit the reserve. I contacted the dealer directly and worked out a deal. I paid exactly what the car was worth at the time.
Don't give up mys2ki, they are out there.
HERE IN Oz In 2011 I spent almost a year looking for the S2K I wanted. Finally a mint totally stock 2001 with just 27,000 kilometers on it, [16800 miles] car turned up, which I grabbed so quickly I think the previous owners head was spinning.
It is sitting in my shed, still mint & totally stock, now with 51,000 kilometers, [31,700 miles] on the clock. I don't do that many miles these days, at 82 I'm getting a bit past it, besides there are the Triumph TR7 & TR8 sitting beside her that also need exercising too. Some time soon I'll have to let a couple of them go, & the S2K will be one of them. No use to you, but there will be a few old codgers in your neighborhood like me that have hung on to & looked after an old love. Be paitent A one will turn up.
