I have used a sunglass visor clip for over ten years. Works great.

clipped on the sun visor.. Hmm that might be an acceptable idea

Putting them to the shifting knob feels like its in the way when shifting.
While driving, I am able to open the console with one hand (my right hand) and reach where my sunglasses are in the console, grab them, and close the console all while still looking at the road. Not that complicated to me. If I am just making a quick trip or know it will be sunny the next morning, I just leave them clipped on the sun visor.

Don't really need one...at least, not in the S..with the glasses I have, I am able to just leave the sun visor flipped up and stick one of the arms of the glasses between the plastic trim moulding and the sun visor, and they fit snug, so even while driving, they don't move/fall down.

FYI, you can send your visors to JPM Coachworks and have them re-covered/re-stitched and you have the option for a "storage strap"..pretty convenient for holding sunglasses - http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/jpm/sho...or-covers.html
Not the cheapest option, but neat.

I have no idea if your model year has this, but mine (2007) does. On the passenger side at the lowest portion of the dash (in the area where many other types of cars usually have a glove box) there are a couple of little shelf-like slots. Considering most owners spend very little time in the passenger seat, and considering that this portion of the car is generally quite dark, many people don't even realize they have it.

I keep CDs in there when I bother to put anything there at all. It might fit your sunglasses.

It is referenced in this thread here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/342...x-does-not-fit

Here is a picture of an earlier S2000 which does not have the extra cubby. http://modifry.com/freebies/top_bypass.htm I am not be certain (mostly because I don't feel like looking it up), but I believe AP2s have this and AP1s don't.

Many owners don't know it's there even though it is in plain sight, but it is definitely not a secret. Of course, neither is the "secret compartment" and really never has been. It's just something people don't generally notice and have decided to call a secret because... well, for whatever reason they may have for calling it that.

The shelf like slots in the lower part of the passenger side dash are in 06 and up S2Ks

^ yep only 06+ and it is not a very easy mod for us 04-05 models due to a difference in space behind the dash. This is the reason not very many ppl have opted to add the "shelves" to earlier models.

OP: Why do you think your sunglasses won't fit once you have the organizer? And if the ability to store your sunglasses is so critical and you believe you won't be able to do that with the Modifry organizer, why exactly do you want the organizer again?

I think u arent talking about the secret compartment which I mean.. I mean the one where u have to open the elbow compartment, then u can flip back the "wind screen".. this means u have to open two compartments.. and the wind screen one is kinda "complicated".

I can't use the "elbow compartment" because thats where the modifry organzier will be. I want it because I need to store some more crap (company ID card, charging cable for phone, house key,.....). Sun visor sounds good

I keep my sunglasses on one of the shelves in the Modifry glove box organizer. I found that before the organizer, all you could do was to pile shit up in the tall open glove box. It turned a space with little use into a space that holds a variety of objects. I don't understand your hesitation. I just put my sunglasses in their bag and put them on one of the shelves. When I had sunglasses with a leatherette case, I did the same. If your sunglasses have some large hard plastic case --- GET RID OF IT.
