Where are the torque sweet spots for the 2004 ?

The '04 has more than adequate torque from 2,400 all the way to 8,200.

ignore that peak at 3500 rpm, I think that is because of the 4IG intake I used to have.

Was this on the same day, one after another? Damn, 218 whp is about 255 hp assuming 15% driveline loss?

Friend at work has had her 2002 GPW/Red since new, and drove my car today, and when she punched it, she said "Whoa. (delay) WHOA!".

That about sums it up for me - my car is only slightly modded, and having driven the last 2003 on my dealer's lot today with the salesman, then mine, both he and I had the same impression of "whoa-ness".

why do I feel a "here we go again" coming on................
