11th character of your VIN should either be S or T, which tells which plant manufactured your s2000. Vote.

My S came from the S Honda factory. Its a S2000 not a T2000 LOL

I always assumed it was made in Suzuka, but after checking the vin it says Tochigi.

Mine is Tochigi, AP1 ... weren't all the AP1's made at the Tochigi? I thought I've heard that from somewhere?

This is correct. The MY00-03 (AP1) s2k's were built in Takanezawa, Tochigi. They moved production to Suzuka, Mie for the AP2. Weird to call one by the prefecture and one by the city.

My AP2 was built in Tochigi.
