Thumbs up Whistle sound when first revving in each gear

Anyone know what this might be? I have been hearing a whistle kinda sound coming from the front of the car(maybe more the right side I think) and seems to only make a noise right when shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear at low rpms. As soon as I rev it up a bit higher the whistle sound goes away. Do wheel bearings make that kind of a sound? Any suggestions or ideas?

I really don't think so. Good point though hahaha. The K&N makes a deeper sound. But I guess now that I think about it, it could make a slight whistle lower down possibly as well. Makes a slight whistle sound at idle when I open the hood. So I think I might have just had a brain fart lol.
But if it's not that does anything else give the whistle sound when going bad at all?

Does it sound like a metal to metal shrill sort of whistle or an 'air' type of whistle? ie; the FIPK or an uncovered airbox whistles noticeably at an idle.

I have one as well. The intake is near silent when off the throttle, as during your shifts. It only makes sense that you pick up other noises when the intake is quiet.

I think it might kinda be an air kinda whistle now thinking about it. It really must be from the FIPK. Or maybe I have a vacuum leak or something. I will have to take a look at all the hosing from when I installed the FIPK.

Well I'm hoping the sound is normal cause mine does it too. It only whistles in low rpms and just for a second or two. I don't have an aftermarket intake, but I guess it could be my gutted airbox and k&n filter.

my prelude did that too with my shoot ram intake. as soon as i first touched the throttle after shifting, it whistled. i always just thought it was the tiny space between the body of the throtle body and the butterfly causing the air to vibrate. i dont think you have anything to worry about.
