+ you get to learn how it's done, so you'd never have to pay for service again...

I believe no one treats a car like their own.

I do all maintenence and most repairs... If it's a really big job I may let a shop do it just because I'm lazy and don't want to get bloody/dirty. If I do let someone else work on it, it has to be someone I trust and I'll usually supervise most of the work.

for any other car I've owned, I always do the work myself. i love trying to diagnose a problem, then work to fix it. and fix it right (if not the 1st time then the second or third)

however, for the S, I am pretty much afraid to do anything,as i am used to small block chevys and fords. i am not too good w/ electronics and vacuum lines. However, iam learning, and dont mind getting dirty, as logn as I know wtf im doing. I take it someplace for oil and fluids, hoiwever, because i am lazy.

I do some work on my S but not major staff. Plus I have found an engineer from Honda Greece and he is now a friend and he takes care of my S. When I had my CRV Honda Greece was asking me 800 EUROS for the 100000km service and the engineer (who is exactly the same one who does the service at HONDA) asked me only 500 EUROS.

As long your S2000 is under warranty dont mess with it. Once the warranty is over then do whatever you like on your S.

I had to voted "Most repairs and all maintenance."
I had the drivers window switch replaced by the dealer. If it was not a free warranty issue, I would have done it myself and voted all.

I always do repairs and maintenance myself, if you truly enjoy the car you should take pride in taking care of it yourself, and you know whats going on with it or what to look for,
and i don't trust anyone else to work on my cars
