Default Who drives with their top down?

Wuts up everybody! Just as the title sugest. Who drives w/ their top down and windows up and if you do, what's your reason?

I tried and noticed a few small differences...

1) A little less wind, but hey, if you got the top down there's gonna be wind
anyways.
2) A little less sound from the sides... but seamed to reduce my alertness .
3) I didn't experience this but maybe some people feel safer?... a little peice of glass protecting them from someone driving an SUV while talking on there phone maybe?...

im always like when i see someone driving with their top down and windows up. its like they couldnt make up their mind or something. i disagree with the top down/windows up cruising. its a convertible! so to answer your question, no, i dont drive like this.

I do this occasionally, but only when my wife is in the car, so that (1) we can carry on a conversation more easily with less wind noise, or (2) when she starts to get bothered by her hair whipping around too much (though getting a good visor has helped that).

I don't put the windows up when running top down by myself, though.

i do this ALL the time. to me, it's about being exposed to the open sky, not to the nasty world on the side of us. i pride my car on being extremely calm and quiet inside even with the top down. windows up, headrest pillows, tall windscreen and heated seats makes for a very comfortable, yet engaging experience. when it's really hot out, then windows down.

Dyhppy,
Where did you get the heated seats?

Mine are heated only when they sit in the sun w/the top down(all the time!)

I think it's for the old people, personally.

= D

The only times I do it is when it's way too cold out, but a pretty day.

I may put it down for a few minutes, turn on the heat full blast, and then put the windows back down when I'm warmed up again.

The only other reason I do it: b/c the lady next to me likes to keep her hair out of her face. = )
