My car has had an attempted break in. I don't know what they were after, probably just the seats.

I know what they did, but I'm not going to post it here just in case some dipshit thieves are reading these threads to get ideas on vulnerabilities.

I hope most of them realize that they are risking their LIVES when they mess with cars like this. Some people would kill someone if they caught them.

A good number of us were "Raped" by our dealers when we bought our cars. Does that count???

Ouch, Johnny--2K, that is too painful to look at. I remember when you first posted about this incident. What a shame that stuff like this happens...

While living in San Francisco, I had my old car (Probe GT) broken into and the radio stolen. When I got the S2000, I had its tires and top slashed in one incident, and the top slashed and seats stolen in another.

The good news is that I got a new pair of seats and a glass rear window out of the deal, but it wasn't much to temper the murderous rage that I felt at the time.

Since moving back down to OC/LA, the only things that vandalize my car are the occasional bird droppings.

If these vandalism occured @ your home or workplace,i guess it has something to do with the way you conduct yourself..i remember one time my friend has a stock Mazda Protege but he was such an ass most of the time, you know the way he looks at people and all that, and guess what his car was vandalized TWICE at his workplace...
