Who has the least milage?
ok, this is somewhat related. when i was shopping for my S2K, i found one that was 3 years old and had 900 miles on it. yea, that's right, nine hundred miles in three years, for an average of 25 miles per month. i didn't believe it (i thought maybe the speedo head had been replaced), so i went to a dealer, who looked up the warranty records by VIN and confirmed. it turns out that it was owned by a professor at stanford univ, who lived on campus and only drove the car on nice summer days. in fact, the top had barely been up in 3 years, since it was garaged the whole time. needless to say, i snatched it up, and now have had it for 2 years, in which time i have put considerably more miles on it (although not that many compared to most). i love the car, and would buy another in a heartbeat if for any reason i lost this one (totalled or stolen). what a fine piece of engineering! i like it so much that when my wife was shopping for a car recently i convinced her to buy a CR-V, so we are now an all-honda household. now, if honda only made sailboats...
