I noticed that many people on this forum drive their cars once a year, but what about the ones who are the real road warriors? And what problems have you encountered. You guys are the pioneers of the S2000. You are our future. Maybe we can learn some valuable lessons from you guys. Please share your experiences.

50,000 miles in 2 years. No problems. Got several TSBs done, but none of them were critical and I could've lived without them if necessary. Loved every mile.

36,800 miles in a year and 5 months... all the tsb's and warranty work done. Driving smoother then the day I brought her home.

talk about garage queen

with that few miles, taking her out for a spin means going down your driveway adn then driving her back into the garage

65K It just this winter turned into a "pleasure car". Mine is an '00. I did all the TSB's.

Only issues I have had have been KNOWN factory issues. Such as inner CV joins going, diff went at 60K, 2nd cylinder coil fried itself at 30K after a check engine light came up from a "cylinder miss fire", lots of tires gone through(never buy S-03's).

There is way to much to explain in one post.

Looking for better tires.......go for R compounds only.(nothing else will really be better than stock)
Better handeling...........get ready for lots of tuning
GET THE X BRACE
Want more power(N/A) it's gonna be hard!
Want more power FI? Get ready to beef up the entire drive line!!!
You will probably want a better stereo.
Care is very low maintenance and you can do most up keep by yourself.
If you track the car the stock brake pads might need to be upgraded. Though the stock pads will hold up ok but heavy usage they don't do so well. Air ducting to the brakes will help lots there.
You can take the car right to the auto-x stock and hold your own!
You will get stared at! Especially if your in a group w/ more than 1

Ask any misc. question and I either know the answer or dealt with it myself.

Highest milage I ever heard of was 130K. Trips across the country. Not typical of a normal S2000's life!
