Default Who here has gone 11'sss????

Just wondering cause at this import race in jersey on sunday ,there was this built show car,,he claimed a 2.2 built motor with paxton supercharger putting out 430 to the wheels ,,the car had custom intake manifold and all sorts changes compared to my regular s2000..anyway he claims the power and then i ask what he runs and said an 11.6 at the drag strip!!
i guess i could believe him ,the car sounded like no other,,also the blower he said was at 18 psi..
im not familiar but it sounded crazy under the hood
peace..

Ask one of the Turbo boys if they are down there yet.

Jerseys2k,

This was an S2000 with 430rwhp? The motor I can believe (could be a Spoon 2.2L stroker).. The 18psi of boost seems pretty high... but what do I know!!!!

I would definitely like to find out more about that one.. like, what did he do to the drivetrain to handle that much power?

I dont buy it. not at all, not without time slips and proof of the motor internals and dyno charts. otherwise you are just gullible believing hearsay.

First of all, why isn't this guy on this board?

Second, we would've heard about it sooner.

Third, 18 PSI from the supercharger? How small of a pulley do you need? Isn't the supercharger only capable of like 14 psi?

The great things about superchargers are that if you have enough money, you can make them produce as much boost as you want them to...

I would say the charger MIGHT be able to produce that kind of boost...IF he replaced the pulley to a smaller one and changed to an internal belt made of kevlar and heavy duty bearings as well...He would also have to probably have a custom made impeller made of billet aluminum that would be able to spin that many RPM's as well...

Just my opinion
