Default who makes the best Headers?

Hi! Everyone. I am thinking of getting a aftermarket header.
What's the HP gains?
Who makes them for S2000?
Also, I am getting a V-AFC(V-tech controller), what rmp do I have to set up? Help is needed. Thanks.

Julia,
My advise is to search the archives. This topic has been covered here hundreds fo times, recently. Everyone has their own opinion and opinions are like a**holes... eveyones got one and everyone thinks the others stink. In a nutshell:
Mugen
Spoon
DC sports

The DC sports is about 1/3 the cost of the others. They all make simular HP. Your search should turn up some dyno graphs for each. Make your own decision.

As for your VAFC, you will need to have it installed and then tuned on the Dyno for it to really make any use of it. Each car is different. Supposedly it is a good mod, but expensive after you buy the controler, have the custom harness made, have it installed, and have it dyno tuned. Buys you around 12HP if done right. You will then probably have to get it re-tuned on he dyno with each new mod that you add.

Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

Andy

a lot of discussion and dialogue about many mfgr's headers, but nothing regarding rm racing's s/s cat back system. does anyone have it installed? any noticebale hp gains? do you like the sound? does it sound high pitched? low pitched? etc.... also, speaking of rm racing, has anyone installed their coil springs that claim to lower the car 1.5 inches? and did it? did it stiffen the car? did you retain the original shocks?

regards

i do believe some research can reveal a host of info on RM products. i can't comment on their products since i've never used them, but i know some members have and hopefully they'll be able to tell you.

also, a lot of info was left back at HA.net and were lost during the countless hacks
