I'm leaning towards Auto Art. What do you folks recommend?

Auto Art makes some of the better die-cast models, but they're still far from being as realistic as a Tamiya kit.

The Tamiya 1/24 scale kits are the best but of course they require skilled assembly.

The original kit is JDM RHD only. The mugen kit (grand prix white on cover) can be assembled as either RHD or LHD.

Depends on what kind of model.

For 1:24 scale plastic models, I think the Tamiya kit is probably the best. Their new version is here.

For 1:18 scale metal die cast models, I think Auto Art is probably one of the best.

For 1:24 scale metal die cast models, I like the Ebbro "Premium Collection" model found here. It is very detailed.

The Ebbro non-Premium 1:24 scale series is mostly sold out. The only one left is the Red left-hand-drive limited edition here.

For Radio Control (RC) models, I think Tamiya is again at the top. Their 1:10 scale RC S2000 is here.
