I could have sworn Enkei was under the Toyota umbrella, but I can't find any evidence of it anywhere online. Might have just been a rumor I had heard at one point...

I have worked in the wheel industry. Enkei makes wheels for small vehicles. There is a different manufacturer called Topy that makes the wheels for the CR-V and the Ridgeline. ION, Prime Wheel, and Superior industries make the bulk of the rest of the EOM wheels for everyone. ION may have sold out as it was struggling two years ago, which was the last time I worked in that industry.

Other than ION, all these wheel manufacturers are owned by the Japanese.

I believe the JDM AP1 16" 6-spoke forge wheels were made by BBS.

How about the Ap2v2 wheels, are they also made by enkie. I just looked and all I could find was MC letters in one small section on every wheel. Don't know who MC is but would sure like to find out.
