Yes, it was surprisingly. It was a clean 02' that I bought with only 39k on it. I only had it for 8 months though and sold it with 48k...I had a VR6 Jetta before that for 6 years and that car had it's fair share of problems but was still pretty reliably overall.

The S2k just feels really solid. The only thing is I was expecting a smoother shift. I am going to change the tranny fluid this summer and see if that helps and it could also be I haven't adjusted to this tranny yet.

Who says the S2000 isn't practical? It seats two, has a decent size trunk, starts every time, and gets good mpg. Thats practical for me - I typically utilize about 50% of the car, versus my old Audi sedan, where I typically utilized about 20% of its space.

The shifts in the s2k are usually really notchy and isnt as smooth as most other trannys. Somebody on here a while back explained why the shifts dont feel like a knife through butter like some other cars do. Either way replacing the transmission fluid to honda mtf wouldnt hurt anything. Nice car

the "knife through butter" shifters don't give me the crisp connected feel that the S2000 shifter does.

Honestly when it comes to practicality the only place the S2000 gets me is with needing to move a large box. Then I am stucking thinking. Great how i am supposed to get this home? 95% of the time i take whatever it is out of the box and break the box down and i am good to go.

2 seats is all i need. I am glad i dont have an unused back seat to just fill with crap.

I just thought it would be a good post title, lol. The car is still practical to me because I don't usually have to drive friends around and very rarely ever use car trunk space besides when I do some shopping. Though there is no arguing it is less practical than the A4 in terms of loosing the AWD for New Jersey winters. I have plenty of time before I have to worry about that though.
