Default Who Parks In Steets Overnight On The Reg?

Who parks in the streets overnight cause they have no choice? This is the only thing keeping me from one of these babys. Im scared of someone slicing the top just to get in and steal the radio or w/e. Im in NY, (Lower Westchester County)

Don't do it. If you have no choice, a hardtop is a MUST.

My S stays on the street (Downtown Seattle) overnight maybe 25% of the time and so far I've had no problems. I guess it depends on where you live...

btw, I don't have a hardtop.

I just wouldn't be comfortable with it on the street all the time. I live about 5 blocks from all the bars and clubs so having drunk party people walking home at night would bother me too much. When they were cleaning my parking garage for 3 days I was real nervous. Fortunately I have friends who like the S as much as me and open a space in their garages when we do a little drinking ourselves or I can't park in my safe building.

Like Tbone said, a hardtop would be a MUST for me if I had to keep it on the street, but I'd still be concerned cause I'm a worrier about the S

Yes, with a hard top, they'll just break the window.

Hey, glass is still cheaper and easier to replace than a top, and it makes more noise and requires more effect than the casual vandal or thief is usually willing to put forth.

A soft top is SO easy to jam a knife in
