Default who uses regular dino oil vs synthetic?

i am at 40k on the od and i am still using regular oil. i change the oil every 3000 ~ 5000 depending on my driving style. I have been to the track a few times and the car doesnt burn any oil right now.

my 2000 prelude started to burn oil once i switched to synthetic.

who else is using regular?

There is a lot of proof, just search. Send in some dino oil after 5k miles to get tested then send in some Full Syn after 5k. That is enough proof for me.

As for me:

Mobil 1 10w30 Full Syn
Honda OEM PCX Filter

I use synthetic primarily because of the extended oil change interval it provides. My S2K is a weekend toy and I put only 4-5K miles on it per year. At that mileage level, I change the oil annually. Synthetic provides consistent protection and performance over 12 months. Dino oil should not be left in the crankcase that long.
