Usually every day. I pick and choose my moments carefully because my car is too loud. I think I'll need to sell my exhaust so I can VTEC more often

Wow, that many people really take it above 6k on a daily basis? I don't feel it is necassary and honestly in day to day driving I rarely take it above 4k. But occasionally I do let loose especially if I have a passenger. And no, Iam not old (25 yr. old single male), I don't consider myself boring, I have no speeding tickets (or any tickets for that matter), my car is not a daily driver and it isn't seriously modded. But for those of you who do get your VTEC fix daily, more power to ya!!!

Hey BBY2KS2K...........you gotta live a little more, and let the car do what it was made for, before it forgets.

......and you have lots of nice mods, don't sell yourself short. You don't need performance mods to FEEL THE POWER!

Vrooooooom

Yes but only in the dry.
Ended up in a field in January after being a bit too exuberant.

I only VTEC when necessary or if I'm really in the mood. This car is engineered so well, I can pull away from most other cars without even having to downshift from 6th on the freeway. Of course, if someone wants to push me a little I'll oblige and downshift to get going faster and/or move out of the way.

I do use my car as a daily driver, so VTECing everyday isn't really a good choice for me. I drive 70 miles round trip and VTECing each day would have me pumping up gas every three days instead of four. With a mortgage and car payment (I only put 15k down for the S), I really don't need to be burning my $2.00/gal gas so quickly.

Why wouldn't you VTEC!

If you got it, flaunt it!
