Default Who will sell new Konis?

I heard a month or so ago that Koni is coming out with shocks for the S2k VERY SOON. Who will be handling these? Can I go to my local Kragen's, or do I need to buy from a speciality shop? If the latter, will any of this forum's sponsors be handling them? I'd like to get them installed ASAP.

Neuspeed were doing the testing for Koni shocks on the S2K earlier this year. I think they are now selling them. I also believe one of our sponsors had a group buy on these a while back. (I can't check it out because the search feature doesn't seem to be working for me today.)

Question about these Koni's for anyone...

Will these Koni's be used because they are shorter and would accomodate the shorter springs that some people are throwing on their cars? How adverse is it to run stock shocks with lowered springs on the S2000? The stock shocks are definitely not valved correctly for lowering springs right?

I have H&R sport springs on my current car, 325i, with stock shocks and am about to replace the shocks after 1 year of usage with the lowering springs. The stock shocks are about gone since they were not meant to be used with the lowering springs. The ride is bumpy and I get a bit of body roll... sigh...

I do not think the Koni shocks designed specifically for the S2000 are available yet (although promised for a year and maybe delivered soon).

Koni shocks work the same anywhere in the stroke as long as they are not extended or compressed to the stops.

Springs that have approximately the same rate as the stock should not make a drastic difference in the performance or life of the (stock) shocks. Large changes in spring rate will require shocks be replaced/adjusted to tune the ride/handling.

Are the Koni's adjustable by the user to accomodate shorter and stiffer "race" springs? IF it is not adjustable, I highly doubt the shocks can work with both stock springs and much stiffer/higher rate "race" springs.

Thanks for the heads-up, Mack. Sure would like to get those before Laguna Seca--would be fun to see how they worked out on a real track.
