Don't know how much truth there is to it, but I've been told that when you do a 180 and the car rolls backwards some without the clutch in, it usually takes a little extra cranking because the engine had been spinning backwards during the spinout.
counter rotation of the crank, it will make it very hard to start but there's nothing wrong with it, unless you do rockford to park your car everyday.

someone said it..BOTH FEET IN WHEN YOU IN A SPIN

that's like rules number two for any track event, after don't hit your anything with your car

don't worry

How fast were you going? I've only had my s2k since the end of Feb. and I've driven it pretty hard around corners, I've even changed gears and/or braked in the middle of a turn and I've never felt like the car was going to spin out at all. The backend kinda felt funny, but I had full control.

I'm coming from a auto civic too, this is my first manual RWD car. I'm jsut wondering how people are spinning out? Maybe I'm not driving it as hard as I'm thinking. I can see the over steer problem, but I have always driven my civic carefully, I wonder if that has helped me.

I don't know! I still can't heel and toe though, that's what I'm working on. So my downshifts are jerky as hell. Are super jerky downshifts bad for the car?

You are right about the second part if you are hitting your brakes mid turn.

There are so many things wrong with this that I'm thanking God you or the S2000 aren't injured.

You should do a search on a few driving directions thread. And don't post your own because we all know that you love posting threads.

Speed wasn't the issue here. His tires were cold.
