its a black vinyl tape that is applied to the windshield frame ( A-pillar), underneath the tape is the body color. There may be blems to the paint though. I had a small quarter size blem that looked like someone had sanded it a little. Other than that the paint was perfect. On the flip side the paint may have no blems.
