What makes you think he's using spacers? With those wheel offsets, it's going to stick out that much. I personally wouldn't recommend it. You're going backwards in handling and driveability of the car.

18x9 +22 -3* F w/215/35/18
18x10 +13 -6* R w/235/35/18

^this...I don't like the "hellaflush" or stancenation stuff. I will admit every once in a while there is a nice one, but things like that don't belong on a s2000. Not my cup of tea, but hey...It's your car.

Stancenation's blocked at work so I can't see the photos, but holy crap if those are accurate specs that car must look ridiculous.

As for the OP's question: Wheel spacers, like many things, can't be lumped into categories of "good" or "bad." If it's only a few millimeters, spacers can really help fill out the fenders and give the car a more aggressive look. The handling characteristics will be affected, but the smaller the spacers, the less you'll notice.

And not all spacers are created equal. H&R make a good product, but there are lots of considerations to make. A good search will yield all the info you need.
