Why *should* you get the mesh screen?

Had a little encounter on the freeway the other day during the rain that did a doozy to my screen... I'm gonna take the bumper off and straighten it out but THANK GOD it was there!

I can only imagine what could've happened if whatever I hit had the opportunity to travel into my radiator unobstructed.

Ahh, the amazing Bay Area debris-riddled freeways. You've got me thinking about getting a screen myself..

Not that a screen would have helped with my last encounter of debris. Took a pice of retread on my windshield frame with my miata, a week before i traded it in on the S2000 and while I was my way tot SFO to go out of town for a week.
