Purchased because it it one of the greatest platforms if not THE greatest affordable platform!

Started with 2 EH hatchbacks between the ages of 14-16
Jumped to a FA5 and did the whole stance thing. And realized how much I hated driving the car lol

Traded it in with all the parts I added for, MY07 NFR and never looked back!

I agree with the statement of the "younger" crowds getting a hold of these cars and making them crap, down here in miami I believe the rebuilt title to clean title ratio must be 3/1 lol

With that many rebuilt titles they must all be stolen. An S2000 on the streets of Miami is easy theft material.

I always wanted a convertible, so I bought mine as a Xmas gift to myself in '08 (I think, getting old). I was cross-shopping Vettes and Boxsters and the s2k came out the winner for a few reasons:
- value
- fuel economy
- reliability

Funnily enough stance did. Specifically this car.

This makes me want to sell my s2000 and buy a corolla.
Makes me want to gouge out my own eyes and bleach my brain to remove the evidence.

Because I still remember the day over 10 years ago when I walked into the Honda dealership with my dad to look at Preludes and the salesman handed me a press brochure for the S2000. It was just so pretty, engine start button and all. It's been a dream ever since, and one that came true

I guess Honda really is the "power of dreams"

We don't hate stance. We hate when someone destroys the most redeaming value of a high performance sports car, all for the sake of vanity. Its taking something we value, that is rare and that we find precious, and disfiguring it in the persuit of bad taste. Its like putting catchup on fine french cuisine.

To performance enthusiasts, form should follow function. There is beauty in a design that speaks to its intent.

The intent of stance seems to be to try to create a cartoonish image of performance.
