Don't tempt me to replace my exhaust with a single pipe.

Some of the cars you listed have active exhausts, so they're quiet most of the time. I know one S owner who installed an active exhaust where the resonator used to be - he loved it until it got stuck open.

Other than that, if you actually listen to a Ferrari or Corvette just loafing around town, they're very quiet - less noise than all the fart-can Civics for sure.

I wouldn't mind if the S2k sounded like a Lotus Elise.

I know its only opinion, but why in gods name do you want your car to sound like a ricer pos? 4 cylinder engines just don't sound right with loud exhausts and every time I see one I just shake my head and think "loser".

Mod for performance, not for noise.

try the hks hipower w/testpipe. You'll get a similar tone

The Boxer Flat-4 being the only exception. There is no sexier sound than an STI with a good pipe, puts most V8's to shame.

Get the ITB sound without the ITB price. Also, my Invidia V4 has an exhaust tone that somewhat similar to the Z\G35 at certain RPMs.

Everytime i see a pos car in a parking lot with a coffee can sticking out the back i step on it.

Its stupid and annoying as hell.

As for the motorcycles, its bs that i can get an instant headache when one drives past but my stereo system cant be too loud.

Welcome to America!
