Why Do The S02's Burn Up So Quickly?

Yeah, I definitely thought about this. Brand new, the SO3's weren't as sticky and I could DEFINITELY feel more oversteer developing on, for example, a high speed cloverleaf. As they've got some wear on them now I think the difference isn't as noticeable. I won't disagree with tirerack that AT THE LIMITS having mismatched fronts and rears isn't advisable, nor is having worn rears and new fronts, nor is a mismatch in tire pressure between fronts and rears... you get my point. I haven't pushed this car to it's limit since day 1, so I think I can live with the S03s.
S02s (OEM) are only available in OEM sizes. The normal S02s are not anywhere near the same. The OEM sizes are perfectly appropriate for our car. The reason for going to 245s for other tires is that our 225 OEM size is really a 245.
