Default Why does everyone want to race me?

I now have 350 miles on the car and have driven it to work everyday this week and it seems as if everyone knows that it is new and wants to race. I keep telling them that I have to break it in easily and they just laugh. Even a kid in civic tried to race me at a light yesterday evening. I just eased away with my ho-hum 3.5K rpm shifts.

The kid with the Civic did have the "Upgraded Sticker Package" I think that is good for at least 20-30 hp.

I think the Sticker Package upgrade is for down force as well.
Be prepared, it never ends.

I mostly get rednecks in big trucks trying to race. They'll do brake stands and such. So I'll let them just take off. Once in a while I'll give them a little VTEC, but not very often.

It's funny you say that. Last week, an OLD, and I mean old as in 80+ year old woman pulls allong side me at a light. She keeps on staring at me really mean like. Even my GF noticed and asked me if I knew her or something. She was in a 60's huge boat of some sort, dark green in color and realy dull. The light turns green and she floors it. The she keeps looking back and does the same thing at the next two lights. I still laugh thinking about it. Maybe she was into the race scene back in her day....

I think it has alot to do with the way the car looks. I remeber those Celica comercials about a year ago where the old man is yelling at the parked car because it LOOKs fast.

I find it most amusing that most people have no idea what it is. So far I have had people ask me if it is the "new bmw", the "new corvette", a maserati etc. I thought the huge "H" badges would give it away, but apparently not.
