Why on earth doesn't the sun visor swing out?

Does anyone else miss the ability to swing out their visor to protect your eyes from glare on the driver's side window? I had to go out and buy a damned baseball cap this weekend cuz' I'm so tired to trying to dodge the sunlight coming in from anywhere but head on! (I haven't worn a baseball cap since I was in Little League, how embarrassing).

Is the permanent placement of the sun visor a design flaw or engineering genius that this mortal doesn't get?

I can't see a bloody thing when it is down - might as well not have them. They are not even any use for placing the V1!

PLUS they have those damn stickers on both sides PLUS they look like they're made out of cheap cardboard (sorry, they are made out of cheap cardboard.)

rarely ever do i use my visor...the windows are small enough as is if i had that thing down i would see crap

so i don't care much...i say invest in a good pair of sunglasses....also help against debris flying around in the cabin and getting into your eye.

It may be due to the power top and the fact that somebody would try to put the top up with them in the way. I think the only reason Honda put them there is to have a place for the airbag sticker.

We have sun visors?! Ok seriously. If I put mine down I can see a whole 10 feet infront of the car! Worthless. Put stickers on them and never use them. Passengers might just for the mirror but that is about it.

Without them, where would you put Rick's upcoming Leather Sun Visor Covers?

I've owned a bunch of ragtops and I've always used the visors to block the sun from above. Just swing them out flat instead of wearing a cap. I really miss being able to swing the visor.
