Just out of blue....I was wondering why S2000 are not FRONT WHEEL DRIVE?

Did you have too much New Year's Eve cheer? The reason the S2000 isn't FWD is
THAT IT IS A *SPORTS CAR*! RWD allows for better chassis balance as well
as spreading the duties of the tires across all 4 tires. A FWD car requires the front
wheels to take up the duty of moving and turning; not good.

The biggest benefit of FWD is packaging. It puts the engine and transmission in
one place the rest of the car can be given over to passenger space.

 

Yeah...and why is it a convertable...and only have two seats...and...?

 

And this one time at band camp...

 

And why did they make it with four wheels instead of two...

 

REAL sports cars are RWD.
