Aftermarket alarm with keyless entry with that feature? Never heard of this as a Honda factory installed option.

Mine is bone stock with the exception of rims and my doors lock automatically 10-15 seconds after I shut the door; this is when I'm outside the car only, not when I'm driving or stopped while driving. *shrug* No factory alarm either, just the standard keyless entry.

Suggestion:

Try NOT pressing the lock button on the keyless entry? lol.

This shouldn't be happening guys.

I seems that it only locks when I pull forward and drive I watched it when I left today. It hasnt always done this I no that for a fact I never had to unlock my doors whe I got out of my car.

I believe the auto-locking feature is configurable. Check your owners manual, there's typically a funky series of programming steps to change the setting. As an example, I just turned this off on my wife's new CR-V by doing something like:

1. open drivers door
2. within 5 seconds turn ignition on but don't start
3. within 5 seconds press and hold the lock button in the unlock position
4. after you hear the click, turn car off

My '04 did this, I was always sure not to leave my keys in the car with the windows closed and top up! No alarm installed.

Its the immobilizer. Its a built in feature, if the car is turned off and the doors are not locked after a set amount of time, it will automatically lock the doors. Additionally, if you unlock the doors but don't open a door, it will also automatically lock after a short time.

Try it out, unlock the doors and stand there for a while without opening the door. It'll automatically lock. Then unlock the door, open the door and then close it, it shouldn't lock. Same goes for turning the vehicle off. Turn off the car, open and close the door and wait for a few seconds. It'll automatically close after a short time.

I personally think its a pretty cool feature. If you scower though the books from when you bought the car, it explains the system.

If its doing it while driving, you either have an electrical glitch, are hitting the key somehow, or an aftermarket alarm system.
